Trainer's Profile
Director of Communications, CVP Group
A content creation specialist with over 10 years of industry experience, Jeremiah has been involved in all facets of video production including camera work, editing, producing and directing. He began his media career in 2008 at Mediacorp and spent two years producing trailers and commercials for on-air promotions for Channel 5. He then spent the next four years cutting his teeth as a freelance video editor, producer and assistant director on various projects before venturing out and starting his own content production outfit, Cinema Verite Pictures (now known as CVP Group), in 2014. His company provides services in video production, live streaming and photography. From humble beginnings as a three-person boutique agency in 2014, Jeremiah now runs a regional business with 30 staff across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. His client list, past and present, includes notable brands such as Lazada, Sadia, KPMG, AirAsia, Circles Life, Guardian, Nestle and Deliveroo.
Michael Kam, Senior Lecturer / Filmmaker
A seasoned film director, writer and producer, Michael Kam is a Senior Lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Film & Media Studies. He had previously chaired the School’s Diploma in Film, Sound and Video programme for full-time students before pivoting his focus towards courses for adult learners under the Continuing Education and Training (CET) banner.
An avid short filmmaker, Michael's works have travelled to numerous international film festivals, such as Berlin, Uppsala, Cork, Palm Springs, Encounters and Curta Cinema, among others. His films have received festival accolades such as the Best Fiction award at Tampere, the ARTE short film award at Hamburg and the Best Director award in Singapore.
Michael has served as mentor and judge in ciNE65, and as a juror at the National Youth Film Awards.

Certification
Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass assessments.
Entry Requirements
All are welcome. No prior knowledge or experience in video production needed.
Course Fees
Funding period for this course is from 28 May 2021 to 30 Sep 2024.
