Mr. Marcus Phua is the Senior Manager and Section Head of Banking and Finance Technology for Diploma in Financial Informatics, and Senior Lecturer with Ngee Ann Polytechnic School of InfoComm Technology. He is also the Programme Manager for Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Specialist Diploma in FinTech. Prior to joining Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Marcus has worked in the global financial markets sector.
He has broad-ranging experience across derivatives analytics, electronic trading product management, and fixed income research and strategy, covering institutional clients including asset management companies, sovereign wealth funds, central banks, hedge funds. He has also led technology development and enhancement projects in the areas of electronic trading and research analytics.
He holds a Bachelor of Computing in Information Systems from the National University of Singapore.
