Course Information

The course is intended to introduce Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to business executives who wish to explore RPA to reduce the burden of repetitive, simple tasks.

Lesson Plan

This course comprises of 16-hours of theory and practical exercises divided into nine sections. The first six sections are followed by the practical sessions using the RPA software. These practical sessions will evolve and later form a complete automation project. In the last three modules, participants learn to apply RPA skills to automate business process scenarios.

Trainer's Profile

Low Wee San

Wee San holds a Bachelor of Mechanical and Production Engineering (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University, a Specialist Diploma in Business Analytics from Polytechnic, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Victoria University of Technology. He also holds the WDA Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA).

He is certified as an SAP Consultant, Scrum Master, and IT Project Manager. He has many years of work experience handling IT Projects and Operation Management in the areas of Enterprise Resource Planning and Enterprise Information Management with organisations such as IBM, Hitachi, Lenovo, Pentair, Singtel, etc.

Wee San has now focused his energies and expertise in managing and training full-time students and part-time adult learners as a full-time lecturer in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, in IT technologies such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Blockchain Technology, Data Visualisation, as well as Project Management.

Certification

A Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all required assessment(s).

A Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who meet the 75% attendance requirement but did not pass all required assessment(s).

Entry Requirements

  • Anyone who is looking to transform the organizations / departments using RPA.
  • Applicants preferably be Computer Literate with basic knowledge in MS Office.
  • Participants are to bring their own Microsoft Windows 10 laptop computer with recommended specification of Dual Core 1.8GHz 64-bit and 8 GB RAM.

Course Fees

Funding period for this course is from 17 Apr 2020 to 30 Sep 2024.
