Course Objectives

The workshop prepares clinical supervisors with the knowledge, skills, and confidence in guiding nursing students during CP, ensuring supervision is consistent, fair, and supportive.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
a) Apply a student-centred supervision framework to support learning in the clinical setting
b) Use the digital assessment system to provide supervision feedback
c) Familiarise with clinical supervision guidelines and workflow
d) Provide structured, constructive, and timely feedback
e) Facilitate case-based discussions: managing supervision challenges and escalation protocols

Course Description

This workshop prepares Clinical Supervisors to guide nursing students during Clinical Practice (CP) confidently. It blends theory and hands-on practice, covering assessment frameworks, supervisory responsibilities, and use of the digital assessment system. Participants will learn to follow structured clinical supervision workflows, navigate reporting and escalation processes, and provide constructive, timely feedback to support student development.
