About Course
Course Objectives
The purpose of this 3-day training is to provide participants with a foundation for exploring and executing some cyber security best practices in industrial control systems (ICS) especially in the water sector amid understanding cyber security operational issues.The technical hands-on and discussion introduce starting concepts about ICS, its related security and their intersection in an operational setting.
Course Description
Participants will build understanding on the following:- Learn the fundamental about industrial control systems (ICS)
- Learn the cyber security issues and operational challenges of ICS
- Learn network segmentation and security of ICS to better protect the infrastructure
- Build understanding of good cyber security solutioning and design that could bring greater benefits across the organisation
- Learn the risks and vulnerabilities of ICS to better mitigate the risks
- Understand some ICS attack vectors to better identify cyber security symptoms against regular engineering faults
- Build understanding on some products to better protect ICS

Refund and withdrawal policy
- Please note that a 100% refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted more than or equal to 14 days before the course start date.
- Please note that a 50% refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted less than 14 days before the course start date.
- Please note that no refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted on or after the course start date.
Remarks
(i) Course fees payable;
(ii) Assessment fees which are part of the course;
(iii) Certification fees which are part of the course; and
(iv) GST imposed on components supported for SFC use.
Penalty charges apply if you:
(i) are absent/no-show;
(ii) withdraw from a course within 14 days of the course start date;
(iii) fail to meet terms and conditions for funding eligibility.
SFC cannot be used to offset penalty charges imposed by Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
