About Course
Course Objectives
The purpose of this 2-day training is to provide participants with a foundation for exploring and executing some cyber security best practices in industrial control systems (ICS) especially in the energy sector amid understanding cyber security operational issues.The technical hands-on and discussion introduce starting concepts about ICS, its related security and their intersection in an operational setting.
Course Description
Participants will build understanding on the following:- Learn the fundamental about industrial control systems (ICS)
- Learn the cyber security issues and operational challenges of ICS
- Learn network segmentation and security of ICS to better protect the infrastructure
- Learn the risks and vulnerabilities of ICS to better mitigate the risks
- Understand some ICS attack vectors to better identify cyber security symptoms against regular engineering faults
- Build understanding on some products to better protect ICS

Refund and withdrawal policy
- Please note that a 100% refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted more than or equal to 14 days before the course start date.
- Please note that a 50% refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted less than 14 days before the course start date.
- Please note that no refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted on or after the course start date.
Remarks
SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) can only be used to cover:
(i) Course fees payable;
(ii) Assessment fees which are part of the course;
(iii) Certification fees which are part of the course; and
(iv) GST imposed on components supported for SFC use.
Penalty charges apply if you:
(i) are absent/no-show;
(ii) withdraw from a course within 14 days of the course start date;
(iii) fail to meet terms and conditions for funding eligibility.
SFC cannot be used to offset penalty charges imposed by Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
