Course Objectives

The Cloud Professional Bootcamp is designed to equip learners with the foundational and advanced skills required to architect, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms. Through hands-on experience and real-world scenarios, learners will develop proficiency in networking, server administration, cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure and AWS), and will culminate their learning in a comprehensive capstone project that demonstrates their ability to deploy secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions.

Course Description

Learners will be able to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud, Azure and AWS platforms, while gaining proficiency in networking, server administration, and security. They will also apply their skills to a comprehensive capstone project, delivering a scalable and secure cloud solution.

In Cloud Foundation module, learners gain a thorough understanding of the core concepts and services related to cloud computing. They build a solid foundation for working with cloud technologies and prepare for more advanced certifications and roles. Learners explore the benefits of Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure platforms and learn how to integrate cloud-based solutions into business strategies.
(SCTP Module) Cloud Professional Bootcamp Capstone Project (NP-CTCPB7CPBCP-SAS)
Learners will participate in a cloud capstone project, where they will create and deploy an all-encompassing cloud-based solution. This process includes identifying a business problem, choosing suitable cloud services, and designing a scalable architecture. They will then implement and test their solution to ensure it meets performance, security, and cost-efficiency standards. The project culminates with a presentation that showcases the technical and business advantages of their cloud solution.
(SCTP Module) Google Cloud Associate Engineer (NP-CTCPB4GCAE-SAS)
Introduces learners to the comprehensive and flexible infrastructure and platform services provided by Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on Compute Engine. Through a combination of presentations, demos, and hands-on labs, learners explore and deploy solution elements, including infrastructure components such as networks, systems, and application services. This course also covers deploying practical solutions including securely interconnecting networks, customer supplied encryption keys, security and access management, quotas and billing, and resource monitoring.

Learners will understand cloud architecture and Google technology, learn how to design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions to drive business objectives. The Cloud Architect should be proficient in all aspects of enterprise cloud strategy, solution design, and architectural best practices such as software development methodologies and approaches including multi-tiered distributed applications which span multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
(SCTP Module) Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (NP-CTCPB6MCAAA-SAS)
In the Azure Administrator Associate certification, learners learn to manage Azure subscriptions and resources, implement storage solutions, configure virtual networks, manage Azure identities, and ensure security and compliance. The role involves deploying, managing, and monitoring Azure environments, as well as troubleshooting and automating tasks.

Networking & IT Infrastructure covers topics such as network fundamentals, network access, IP connectivity, IP services, and security fundamentals. Learners will learn how to install, operate, configure, maintain, and verify basic IPv4 and IPv6 networks. The topic covers configuring network components such as switches, routers, and wireless LAN controllers; managing network devices; troubleshooting network problem; identifying basic security threats; and implementing network security, standards, and protocols.

Windows & Linux Server Administration covers the latest server technologies including virtualization, security, network-attached storage, and disaster recovery. Learners will learn about the concepts and the technologies of Windows Server administration, Windows-based networking, Active Directory, account management, and system recovery tools and concepts. Learners will also learn about common tasks in major distributions of Linux, including the Linux command line, basic maintenance, installing and configuring workstations, security, Linux troubleshooting & diagnostics, networking, and automation and scripting.

Refund and withdrawal policy

  • Please note that a 100% refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted more than or equal to 14 days before the course start date.
  • Please note that a 50% refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted less than 14 days before the course start date.
  • Please note that no refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted on or after the course start date.

Remarks

SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) can only be used to cover:

(iii) Certification fees which are part of the course; and

(i) are absent/no-show;
(ii) withdraw from a course within 14 days of the course start date;
(iii) fail to meet terms and conditions for funding eligibility.

SFC cannot be used to offset penalty charges imposed by Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
