(SCTP) Data Governance (Classroom, Synchronous & Asynchronous e-learning) (Full-Time) (TA-eligible)
(SCTP Module) Business Continuity and Crisis Management for Data Resiliency (NP-CTDG3BR-FAS)
This 3-day module is designed to empower Data Governance Specialists and Data Engineers by integrating Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Crisis Management principles into their roles. Participants will focus on safeguarding data integrity, ensuring compliance, and developing crisis response plans.
(SCTP Module) Data Engineering and Migration: Building Data Solutions for Seamless Transition (NP-CTDG6DT-FAS)
Data Engineering and Migration is a comprehensive course designed to equip learners with the essential skills and knowledge required to build data solutions for seamless transition. Whether you are a seasoned data professional or a beginner, this course will help you gain practical experience in designing and implementing data solutions that can transform your organization's data landscape.

The course will begin by providing an overview of data engineering fundamentals, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data pipeline design. We will examine various tools, technologies, and frameworks used in data engineering and explore how they contribute to building scalable, efficient, and reliable data solutions.

Next, we will delve into data migration strategies and best practices, including migrating data from legacy systems to modern ones. We will discuss common data migration challenges, such as data quality, consistency, and completeness and demonstrate how to address these challenges.

Throughout the course, we will emphasize hands-on exercises and real-world use cases to demonstrate the practical applications of the concepts discussed. We will cover topics such as ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data integration, and data cleansing, using popular tools such as Apache Spark, AWS Glue, and Google Cloud Dataflow.
(SCTP Module) Data Governance Capstone Project (NP-CTDG13DP-FAS)
The capstone project aims to create and implement a data governance framework to ensure data quality, security, compliance and accessibility within an organization. As data grows in complexity, the absence of proper governance can lead to issues like data breaches and poor decision making. The project involved assessing current data practice, developing a tailored framework, selecting appropriate tools, and training staff. The implemented framework should improve data management, security and compliance, providing a structured approach that aligns with industry standards.
(SCTP Module) Data Governance, Ethics and Security Management (NP-CTDG5DM-FAS)
Data is becoming the core corporate asset that will determine the success of your financial institute. Digital transformation is on the agenda everywhere. You can only exploit your data for a successful digital transformation if you are able to govern your data. It is therefore imperative to adopt an appropriate data governance framework and deploy the most suitable technology that meets your business objectives and business models. Many finance organizations, regardless of size and industry, are not sure about the level of risk associated with how they acquired data, or where and how they’ve stored, shared and made use of data.

Data governance is a fundamental part of security. It ensures that data is safe and locked down but continues to be accessible across the organization in a controlled manner. Data governance and information security are key foundations for an enterprise cybersecurity strategy.
(SCTP Module) Design Thinking (NP-CTDG11DT-FSAS)
Participants will learn many human-centered design methods, using real-world scenarios for hands-on learning of each method’s activities and techniques to help you and your team identify the right problems to solve and design solutions that people want and need.
(SCTP Module) Enterprise Risk Management in a Digital World (NP-CTDG2EW-FAS)
The ISO 31000 standard forms the backbone of an enterprise risk management framework, emphasizing a holistic approach to managing risks across the entire organization. This standard ensures due consideration for overall enterprise objectives, acting as a common language and strategy hub for existing risk management efforts. The goal of enterprise risk management is to both decrease the likelihood of risks occurring and minimize their impact on the organization. It serves as a coordinated activity to guide and control the organization with regard to risk, incorporating a crucial upstream element known as risk sensing.

Despite the significance of risk sensing in anticipating risks and opportunities, many organizations lack structured frameworks for meaningful anticipation. A Risk Sensing capability is highlighted as critical for Strategic Planning and Enterprise Risk Management, urging organizations to adopt more anticipatory processes. This approach challenges leaders to think creatively, fostering a deeper understanding of the interconnections between factors and enhancing institutional resilience through scenario planning.
