Course Description

The course will provide progression pathways for graduates who wish to pursue further education or certifications in related fields, such as digital marketing, data analytics, or business management.

Overall, the course is designed to cater to the needs of budding entrepreneurs, jobseekers and upskillers, providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the fast-paced and ever-evolving start-up business environment.

Digital Commerce & Marketing (NP-0113DCM)
Digital Marketing & Commerce is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the dynamic world of online business. The content covers various aspects of digital commerce, including online marketplace and e-commerce websites, livestream commerce, social media marketing, content marketing, and the development of a success mindset.
Practicum (OJT) (NP-0114PRAC)
Start-up Finance & Operations (NP-0111SFO)
This course covers the basics of operating a start-up company. This includes setting up lightweight processes and controls in facilities management, setting up a recruiting function, establishing necessary bookkeeping practices, and ensuring all necessary equipment and IT functions and security are addressed to keep the company running. This course also covers key metrics that needs to be established that monitors the health of a start-up. Metrics such as Cash Burn, Hiring Pipeline, Sales Targets, Budgets will be covered.
Start-up Product Development (NP-0112SPD)
This course covers the basics of product development which includes concepts such as product SPRINTS, evaluation and assessment. The Lean methodology of product development and discovery will also be covered. This course will also cover basic concepts of scaling product for the masses –   its considerations and trade-offs.

Refund and withdrawal policy

  • Please note that a 100% refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted more than or equal to 14 days before the course start date.
  • Please note that a 50% refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted less than 14 days before the course start date.
  • Please note that no refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted on or after the course start date.

Remarks

SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) can only be used to cover:
(i) Course fees payable;
(ii) Assessment fees which are part of the course;
(iii) Certification fees which are part of the course; and
(iv) GST imposed on components supported for SFC use.

Penalty charges apply if you:
(i) are absent/no-show;
(ii) withdraw from a course within 14 days of the course start date;
(iii) fail to meet terms and conditions for funding eligibility.

SFC cannot be used to offset penalty charges imposed by Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
