Course Information
From financial reporting to accounting techniques, this course enables you to gain the technical skills and knowledge required to be an accountant, auditor or finance executive. You will learn how to compute tax liabilities, develop business valuation models and perform audit procedures. Upon graduation, you may progress to the Singapore CA Qualification to attain the Chartered Accountant of Singapore designation.

Lesson Plan
Be able to explain the treatment and disclosure of hedge accounting, demonstrating appropriate professional judgement and know the nature, purpose and scope of assurance engagement.
Learn to manage the finance function of a business using investment appraisal techniques and business valuation models and develop management accounting techniques for planning, control and decision-making.
Comprehend the Conceptual Framework and the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and the principles and major technical areas of taxation.

You are required to complete 4 post-diploma certificates within 3-year validity period to be awarded the Advanced Diploma qualification.
Entry Requirements
A Diploma in any discipline from a local polytechnic.
Graduates from the following diploma courses are granted two module exemptions i.e. Principles of Financial Reporting & Singapore Taxation.

Diploma in Accountancy from Singapore Polytechnic
Diploma in Business Practice (Accounting) from Singapore Polytechnic

The Advanced Diploma in Accountancy requires students to sit for the Singapore CA Foundation Program examination for 6 modules every June and December. Students have to bear the annual candidature fees of $107 and the exam fees of $535 per module payable to Singapore Accountancy Commission in addition to course fees charged by NP.

SkillsFuture Credit
All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses. Visit the SkillsFuture Credit website to choose from the courses available on the Training Exchange course directory. The credits can be used on top of existing course fee subsidies/funding. This is only applicable for self-sponsored applicants and must be applied via the SkillsFuture Portal. More details on the SkillsFuture Credit Claims will be advised upon admission into the course.
Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)
NTUC members enjoy 50% unfunded course fee support for up to $250 each year (or up to $500 for NTUC members aged 40 years old and above) when you sign up for courses supported under UTAP (Union Training Assistance Programme). Please visit e2i’s website to find out more.
