Course Information

Learn how to use cleaning chemicals safely and assess the risks involved in the storage, handling, usage and disposal of cleaning chemicals.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to ensure the proper and safe use of cleaning chemicals by identifying its purpose and assessing the risks involved in the storage, handling, usage and disposal of such chemicals, including:
  • Relevant regulatory requirements for purchasing, handling, storage, use and disposal of cleaning chemicals
  • Types and uses of cleaning chemicals
  • Safe handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Carry out WSH inspections for the safe handling of hazardous chemicals.
  • Incident investigation and iReporting

Certification

A Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all required assessment(s).

A Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who meet the 75% attendance requirement but did not pass all required assessment(s).
