Course Information
This interactive course will provide opportunities to discuss the various causes of the vehicle accidents, including the human factors, other road users, weather, road conditions and vehicle problems.
The course through both classroom and in-vehicle sessions out on the road will provide drivers with an awareness of actual and potential hazards associated with driving on all road types and equip drivers with the necessary defensive driving techniques to recognize these hazards, understand the defense, and act in time.
Learning Outcomes
This course will:
- enhance the participants knowledge about the vehicle defensive driving and safe driving;
- analyze and demonstrate to them about defensive driving and safe driving practices;
- equip them the skills in maneuvering the vehicle safely in different driving situations;
- raise drivers’ defensive driving skills, visual perception skills, knowledge of vehicle limitations, and a driver’s responsibilities to other road users;
- prevent or minimize the vehicle accidents.
The course will also cover the safe driving techniques for the hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles.

Lesson Plan
Topics cover key contributions of vehicle accidents and precautions to be taken when driving under high-risk road conditions.
Topics covered will equip participants with knowledge of potential hazards and defensive habits when driving in the city.

Entry Requirements
Singapore Driver’s License class 3A and above.
