A major concern of many organizations today is the security of data privacy where malicious hackers are prevalent. In this case, thinking like a criminal is key to your security, and this is where the skills of a professional ethical hacker plays a crucial role.

  • Principles of ethical hacking, penetration testing methodology, reconnaissance of IT infrastructure, scanning for network, systems, and web application vulnerabilities
  • Developing attack vectors to exploit the vulnerabilities

  • More than 40 percent of class time provides students with a hands-on experience of the latest hacking techniques, methodologies and tools

Trainer's Profile

Konidala Divyan Munirathnam

Konidala Divyan Munirathnam graduated from KAIST of South Korea with a M.Sc., and PhD. in Cryptology and Information Security. He is certified cybersecurity professional with Security+, GWAPT, GREM, CEH, and ECSA certifications. Konidala Divyan Munirathnam has been a full-time lecturer with the Polytechnic since 2014. He is currently teaching modules related to Diploma in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics. In terms of continuing education for adult learners, he specializes in courses related to cybersecurity.

Certification

Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all required assessments.


Entry Requirements

  • Applicants should have undertaken GCE ‘O’ Levels course of study
  • Applicants should have experience and/or educational background in fundamentals of cyber security.
  • Basic Windows / Linux user skills and a fundamental understanding of computer and networking concepts

Funding period for this course is from 27 Jan 2021 to 30 Sep 2024.
