Course Information

Additive Manufacturing (AM), or 3D printing, is set to be the next revolution in manufacturing since the industrial revolution. Ever heard of a 3D-printed jet engine? Or 3D printers capable of building a house? How about eating 3D-printed pizza? The possibilities are endless.

Learning Outcomes

Get industry-ready by exploring the basics of 3D Printing technology, its principles of operation, limitations, materials and applications. Gain skills in running entry-level and mid-range 3D printers and take advantage of the new Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).

A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to learner who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all required assessment(s).


A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to learner who meet the 75% attendance requirement.

Funding period for this course is from 1 Jul 2023 to 30 Sep 2024.

SkillsFuture Credit

GST Increment in 2024
