Course Information

This Work-Study Certificate (WSC) is designed to give fresh graduates of a full-time Higher NITEC a head-start in careers in business administration support job roles.

This 12-month programme consists of 2* Modular Certificates (MC), including on-the-job training with a business or service-related company.

Certificate in Customer & People Management

Develop skills in service operations, business management and human capital management so as to effectively manage customers and employees in organisations.

Management & Organisation
Provides fundamental understanding of four essential functions of management, namely, planning, organising, leading and controlling. Covers an overview of organisations and the role of managers in a global economy.
Human Capital Management
Equips you with the working knowledge of human resource skills needed by supervisors and managers to ensure your organisations attract, employ, develop and retain the optimum number, type and quality of employees to meet organisation demands and goals.
Service Operations Management
Introduces operations of service organisations and management techniques for the delivery of goods and services to meet customers' needs and organisational objectives.
Certificate in Digital Marketing
Marketing in the Digital Age
This module covers the fundamentals of marketing, where students learn the use of social networks and technologies to understand people and the marketplace to build effective and long-lasting customer relationships. It provides a holistic view of the entire marketing programme with a convergence of digital and traditional media to deliver customer value and engagement at every experience of their customer journey to move people to action.
Digital Marketing Strategies
This module equips students with knowledge of the principles, concepts, frameworks and applications of digital marketing. With the use of software such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, SEMRush, Ubersuggest, SpyFu and BuzzSumo, students will explore the digital marketing environment and gain an appreciation of key digital platforms. They will also learn digital marketing frameworks and apply competitive digital marketing strategies for stakeholder engagement, business expansion, and brand-building used by successful organisations.
Digital Media – Metrics & Analytics
This module focuses on basic concepts and principles of social media and web analytics, digital and web campaign types, measurement, optimisation and testing on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Students will be introduced to data measurement tools, metrics and analytics terminologies. Students will create and optimise comprehensive digital marketing plans that incorporate consumer behaviour, trends, site design and brand-building concepts, and evaluate performance using metrics and analytics.

Applicants with any of the following qualifications are invited to apply for the course:

All ITE Graduates with a recognised full-time Higher NITEC qualification are eligible to apply for this course. Male graduates required to serve NS should apply to join after ORD.

Course Fees

The Work-Study Certificate As the WSC is a company-sponsored programme, the course fees will be fully borne by the a company-sponsored programme and the course fees will be fully borne by the company.
